Janine Stewart, owner and operator of Give It a Whorl Fibers, had a dream to create a line of yarns that would be unique and inspirational. During the winter of 2002 she started knitting scarves for a local yarn store, and her passion grew from there.

     She decided that just knitting wasn't enough. With in the next couple of years she learned how to spin and dye her own yarn and eventually decided to start her own business, Give it a Whorl Fibers. She is now better able to share her love of natural fiber and color with other knitters and fiber enthusiasts.
